Overall Responsibilities: 

Marketing Supervisor is an integral member of the Marketing Department who is responsible for coordinating marketing projects of varying size and complexity or parts. She/he is responsible for organizing and controlling activities and for communicating risks, opportunities, and the current state of the project to the Marketing Manager and/or Company Executive.

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.

  • At least five (5) subjects CXC, inclusive of Grade one (1) or two (2) in Mathematics and English.

Experience:   At least three to five (3-5) years’ experience in a similar position.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

1. Ensure that the project/task runs smoothly by tracking progress and timely communicating its status to the Marketing Manager and/or Company Executive.

2.Ensure that the marketing team communicates and updates each other on the status of projects/tasks.

3.Ensuring that relevant information is captured and communicated.

4.Delegating tasks to Marketing Assistants.

5.Working with the Marketing Team to remove blockers in completing the project/task.

6.Track, analyze, and communicate project/task risks and opportunities.

7.Helping the Marketing Manager with the development of the operating procedures.

8. Assist with issues relating to finance: billing, making reports and invoices for fees, and tracking expenses relating to marketing.

9.Resolving any budget/expense queries including timely communication if extra budget is needed for projects/tasks.

10.Assist in creating marketing and implementing marketing strategies and promotions.

11.Overseeing completion of tasks within the department.

12.Lead the coordination of projects/tasks from inception to completion in a timely manner.

13.Develop training and briefing if needed by the team.

14.Ensure that deadlines are met.

15.Keeping in close contact/communication with the team and Marketing Manager and/or Company Executive.

16.Track and report progress.

17.Update documentation.

18.Serve as liaison between the company and freelance talent and other marketing services

19.Writing reports, sponsorship, and communication letters and requests for internal and external customers.

20.Communicating, Organizing, and hosting presentations for client and customer visits.

21.Liaises with all media agencies, Tri-Media, and social media, to secure the best adverting rates, packages, deals, and information.

22.Facilitate, Supervise, and evaluate donation & sponsorship requests and budget expenditures.

23.Assist and support the Marketing Manager in their daily duties

24.Other tasks assigned by the management.

Marketing Research and Analysis:

1.Help to organize and conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/questionnaire.

2.Assisting the manager in writing communication and reports and analyzing data

3.Develop and keep track of customers who respond to questionnaires and follow up with customers who have issues

4.Lead placing ads for Tri-Media (Print, Radio, and TV) and all other media, similarly.

5.Evaluating the effectiveness of promotions and collecting data for the same

Manage VIP Customer Database:

1.Lead in maintaining the VIP Customer Database for promotion and events

2.Lead in the set-up and allocate roll-out communications to update the loyalty program, liaise with external partners/and manage the program database.

3.Lead in keeping track of VIP Customers

4.Lead in daily operation and administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department.
