The position shall cover the following areas:
Responsibilities include scheduling staff and overall functioning of the department and the sales team, merchandising and restocking and inventory control.
Job Requirements/Specifications
Education:
· (5) subjects CXC, inclusive of Mathematics, English.
· Diploma would be an asset.
Experience: Two (2) years in sales and at least 1 year managing a sales team.
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Customer Engagement:
1.Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
2.Identify customer hardware needs and provide product recommendations.
3.Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
1.Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling hardware products.
2.Upsell additional accessories, warranties, or services to maximize revenue.
3.Build and maintain customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Product Knowledge:
1.Stay informed about the latest hardware technologies, specifications, and industry trends.
2.Provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers regarding product features and compatibility.
3.Attend product training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
Merchandizing:
1.Ensure that the hardware section of the store is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
2.Monitor and restock inventory, and update product displays to highlight promotions or new arrivals.
3.Work along with the Store Merchandiser to ensure the section is merchandised properly.
4.Ensure once price is changed that all merchandise barcodes & prices carry new price.
Customer Service:
1.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and returns with a positive and solutions- oriented approach.
2.Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
