Requirements

We are open to hearing from all interested candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of 6 CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and Principles of Accounts. Currently pursuing CAT or a Diploma in Accounting.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations. Familiarity with PAYE and NIS regulations and laws.

  • Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will be expected to support our Payroll function for various clients. You will:

·       Collect and Verify Data: Gather and verify employees’ work hours and timesheets.

·       Process Payroll: Calculate wages, including overtime, bonuses, and commissions, and ensure timely payments.

·       Update Records: Maintain and update payroll records with changes in employee information, such as job titles, exemptions, and benefits.

·       Handle Deductions: Issue deductions for taxes, social security, etc.

·       Resolve Discrepancies: Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries related to payroll.

·       Prepare Reports: Generate reports summarizing earnings, tax deductions, leave, and other payroll-related information.
