The Junior Accounts Clerks is responsible for assisting in maintaining accurate financial records, assist in managing all inventory related task, prepare and issue cash and cheque payments, and assist in any other administrative duties of Urban Life/MVP Sports at all locations.
Education:
· At least five (5) subjects CXC, inclusive of Grades 1 to 2 in Mathematics, English and Accounts.
· Knowledge of QuickBooks would be an asset
· CAT level 1 or studying in related field would be an asset.
· Competency in MS Office & databases.
Experience: At least one (1-2) year experience in similar position.

The job requires some physical activities.
1. Preparation of all check off sheets & ensuring all sheets are ready before any Overseas shipment arrives.
2. Updating check off sheets & verifying all goods are received and accounted for Overseas shipments.
3. Assisting in verifying & overlooking offloading of Container shipments to ensure all boxes accounted for, organizing necessary tools & porters needed to offload containers.
4. Assist in preparing Inventory transfer sheets, organizing inventory transfers, investigate any discrepancies as the need arise.
5. Assist in performing Stock counts as the need arise, investigating & correcting all inventory discrepancies.
6. Posting of financial transactions in QuickBooks and provide accurate reports as the need arise.
7. Preparation & Issuing of Cash and Cheque payments.
8. Ensuring all utility bills are being paid before due dates.
9. Assist in updating, preparing & issuing company policies, Memo’s & SOPs.
10. Assist in Scheduling Interviews, follow up & ensuring applicants completes all relevant test & forms required for interviews.
11. Scheduling meetings, prepare meeting agenda and meeting minutes, follow up on any task outlined from said meeting to ensure its completed.
12. Assist in organizing and requisite items for the stores as needed.
13. Assist in keeping accurate records of inventory & store items kept in storage room & transferred to other locations.
14. Reporting on any store issues to mall managements & following through to ensure issues were resolved.
15. Managing all online orders, calling customers to confirm orders, putting through orders on behalf of customers when the need arise, organizing delivery & following up to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
16. Filing of all relevant paperwork.
17. Any other task assigned from time to time.
