Distribution Services Limited (DSL), a subsidiary of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons for the position of Administrative Assistant.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
· A Degree in Management or any other appropriate degree from the University of Guyana, plus two (2) years related experience
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· A high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
· The ability to work flexible hours, with minimal supervision
Main competencies:
· Manages the office operations and fulfills the procurement requirements across the multiple DSL locations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
· Understands and responds timely to general staff enquiries and issues.
· Answers and directs all phone calls and arranges all conference calls and online meetings.
· Maintains and effectively manages record-keeping for operations.
· Prepares and circulates key scheduled reports as required.
· Manages schedule for the Manager and other team members.
· Ensures the timely updating of Employees’ timecards as required.
