We are currently looking for a Legal Advisor/Attorney to work in a permanent position with one of our clients in Georgetown (Guyana), an international consulting firm specialized in legal, tax and business advisory and litigation, particularly to the main companies of the Oil & Gas sector.
Law degree from a reputable school or practising lawyer who has been admitted to the bar.
Sector Experience: Oil & Gas sector
Languages: English is a prerequisite; Spanish would be a plus
A legal advisor/attorney at law with five years minimum of professional experience.
Experience across corporate law and tax law. Experience in Hydrocarbon law is desirable but not mandatory
Work Background: Ideally, from top-tier/international law firms.
Personality: The candidates must be motivated, flexible, have an international mindset, and be able to work autonomously.
Location: Work will principally be conducted in the Guyana office with a few missions outside of Guyana; travel destinations may include Suriname and others.
