Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. The role ensures that inventory is properly managed, stock levels are accurate, and all items are handled safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in warehouse or inventory management.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of inventory systems and stock control.

  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software).

Responsibilities

. Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate supply of materials.

  • Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.

  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of all goods.

2. Receiving and Dispatching

  • Supervise the receiving of deliveries and verify quantities and quality.

  • Ensure goods are properly recorded and stored.

  • Coordinate the dispatch of items to departments or customers.

3. Warehouse Operations

  • Organize warehouse layout to maximize space and efficiency.

  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.

  • Implement proper storage procedures and stock rotation.

4. Staff Supervision

  • Supervise warehouse assistants and other support staff.

  • Assign daily tasks and monitor performance.

  • Provide training on warehouse procedures and safety.

5. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain records of inventory, deliveries, and dispatches.

  • Prepare reports on stock levels and warehouse activities.

  • Coordinate with purchasing and management regarding stock requirements.

6. Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

  • Ensure proper handling of goods and equipment.

  • Report any damages, shortages, or incidents.
