To provide high-level, confidential administrative and strategic support to the CEO. This role acts as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO, including coordination between academic deans, administrative heads, and global partners.
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Education: CXE/Bachelor’s degree required; or professional certification (e.g., CAP) is highly preferred.
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience supporting C-Level executives, preferably within the education, healthcare, or corporate sectors in Guyana.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP/University Management Systems.

Executive Support & Gatekeeping: * Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments and ensure the CEO’s schedule is followed and respected.
Act as a "gatekeeper" and "gateway," creating win-win situations for direct access to the CEO's time.
Strategic Communication: * Draft, edit, and finalize formal correspondence, reports, and presentations for board meetings or accreditation bodies.
Manage sensitive information with absolute confidentiality regarding university operations and staff.
Meeting & Board Management: * Prepare agendas and briefing materials for executive leadership and board meetings.
Record minutes, track action items, and follow up with department heads to ensure CEO-led initiatives are progressing.
Project Coordination: * Support the CEO in overseeing university expansion projects, clinical partnerships, or international recruitment drives.
Liaise with various departments (Academics, Finance, HR, Marketing) to gather data for CEO review.
Logistics & Events: * Coordinate complex travel arrangements (domestic and international) and oversee logistics for university-wide events like convocations or white coat ceremonies when requested.
