To facilitate growth in both the retail food service and offshore sectors. He/she will assist the company in meeting its goals through maximizing sales and achieving sales targets by proactively pursuing new business opportunities while up selling and cross selling to existing customers.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position with at least two (2) years in a retail food environment.
Food industry knowledge would be considered an asset.
Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent customer service skills
Must be a licensed Driver and Own your own Vehicle (Vehicle must be in good working condition)
CSME certificate/work permit will be require for Trinidadian national.
Skills:

Strong reporting skills.
Good communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to lead a team.
Principal Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service whilst fostering strong client relationships.
Service existing accounts, obtain and process orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules. This involves calling / visiting existing or potential clientele.
Submit orders by utilizing working tools provided and liaising with CSR’s & credit department, dispatchers etc. to ensure that the deliveries of goods to your customers are done in a timely fashion.
Handle collections in a timely manner based on the customer’s credit terms.
Keep management informed by submitting sales activity and results reports, such as daily cash reports, weekly sales logs, projections / forecasts.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on products, prices, delivery schedules, and other techniques, thus reporting same to management.
Be a solution provider to your assigned customer to ensure quality service. These include but are not limited to collections, credits, damages, promotions etc.
Actively seek to have additional items listed as well as to identify new customers in a timely manner.
Be actively involved in promotional type activities with the client, this may involve supervision of a promoter when required.
Represent the Company at networking meetings/functions.
Assist the General Manager with building out/leading a sales team.
Any other related duties as may be required.
