Established in 1986 by Mr. Lakhram Singh, Mike’s Pharmacy has become a cornerstone of integrity and service in Guyana’s pharmaceutical sector. Our family-owned business began with a vision to provide the community with reliable access to essential healthcare products. Over the years, we have grown into a multifaceted enterprise, serving as an importer, distributor, wholesaler, and retailer of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, and various other products.

With two prominent locations at 147 Regent & Albert Street, Bourda, and 1 Blygezight Gardens, Mike’s Pharmacy has earned a reputation for prompt and reliable service. Our facilities include a large, well-equipped, and certified storage bond, ensuring the safekeeping and efficient distribution of our extensive product range. As a Guyanese-owned business, customer service remains a top priority, with a commitment to providing safe and efficacious medicines and products to all customers.

In addition to pharmaceuticals, Mike’s Pharmacy also imports and distributes household and toxic chemicals, as well as natural plant products and essential oils. As a wholesaler, we supply a majority of products to numerous pharmacies across Guyana, solidifying our integral role in the nation’s healthcare ecosystem. Beyond serving local needs, we also export products to neighbouring countries and islands, expanding our reach and impact in the region.

A notable aspect of our operations is the repackaging of our own line of products under the brand ‘MP’ Essential Oils & Natural Products. This initiative underscores our dedication to quality control and safety, ensuring that every product meets stringent regulatory standards enforced by organizations such as the Government Analyst Food & Drug Department (GAFDD). We are also licenced to operate under other local regulatory bodies such as the Pesticides & Toxic Chemical Control Board (PTCCB), the National Plant Protection Organization (NPPO), and the Pharmacy & Poisons Board under the Ministry of Health. This strengthens our commitment to quality and safety in every product we offer.

Moreover, Mike’s Pharmacy is a registered member of the Local Content Register, qualifying us to provide services to the burgeoning petroleum industry in Guyana. This achievement further solidifies our role as a trusted partner in both healthcare and industrial sectors.
