Receiving, unpacking, & organizing cargo according to outlined procedures. This involves labelling cargo with all necessary invoices and/or labels, and alphabetically assigning cargo to respective areas in the cargo room.
Ensuring the cargo area is neatly organised and tidy at all times.
Ensuring that cargo boxes are broken down and disposed of according to the schedule.
Tracking shipments using company-provided cargo software and manifests.
Preparing cargo for delivery and office pickup. Ensuring that all cargo delivered or picked up by customers are released using available software.
Directly responsible for ensuring customers collect packages, and includes contacting customers to notify them of the availability of packages.
Support branch transfers as directed by the Team Leader and Manager, as well as delivery preparation with a high level of accuracy.
