Description

Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment; organize for routine and preventative maintenance of them; maintain performance and quality standards, and good house- keeping practices. 

Requirements

3 -5 Subjects CXC/GCE ‘O’ Level or GTI/GITC Certificate in Electrical Engineering. 

2 – 3 Years Related Work Experience

Responsibilities

  • Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, following electrical code and blueprints. 

  • Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment 

  • Test malfunctioning machinery/equipment and discuss malfunction with other maintenance workers to diagnose malfunction. 

  • Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors and positions sensing devices. 

  • Certify that all electrical wiring is safe in the Plant. 

  • Arrange for preventative and routine maintenance and report malfunctioning problems promptly.
