Perform laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and immunology/serology.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
Conduct quality-control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Analyze and interpret laboratory findings and report results accurately and promptly.
Maintain complete and confidential patient and laboratory records.
Follow laboratory safety, infection-control, and waste-disposal procedures.
