Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of all assigned projects, conducting site visits, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and that facilities are maintained to support business operations efficiently and safely.

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

·       PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.

·       Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in managing construction and infrastructure projects.

·       Proven experience in facility or property management.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools, health & safety regulations, and local compliance laws.

Responsibilities

·       Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction, infrastructure, and renovation projects.

·       Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

·       Coordinate internal teams, external contractors, and vendors.

·       Monitor project progress and report regularly to management.

·       Identify and manage project risks, issues, and change requests.

·       Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards.

 Facilities Management

·       Oversee maintenance and operational efficiency of all company-owned buildings, warehouses, ports, and related infrastructure.

·       Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

·       Manage vendor contracts for cleaning, security, utilities, and other services.

·       Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to across all facilities.

·       Recommend upgrades, refurbishments, and renovations as needed.

Leadership & Communication

·       Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and regulatory bodies as required.

·       Supervise and mentor project teams and facility staff.

·       Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders.

·       Prepare reports, proposals, and documentation for senior leadership.

·       Strong organizational and leadership skills.

·       Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

·       Financial and budgeting proficiency.

·       Attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.

·       Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

·       Frequent travel to project sites and facilities.

·       Evening, weekend and work on holidays may be required depending on project timelines.

·       Valid driver’s license, transportation and ability to travel to job sites
