Description

Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite qualifications and experience for the position of Production Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in management, or technical or craft certification in any technical field, experience would be an asset. 

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing production teams, providing guidance, training, and motivation

  • Managing production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources including human resources for the timely delivery of products.

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records of raw materials, finished products, and work-in-progress

  • Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback to improve productivity and morale.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
