Description

A Data Entry Clerk accurately enters and updates information, keeps digital and hard copy files organized, and ensures records are correct, confidential, and accessible.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Fast typing skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Ability to manage time well and meet deadlines

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in data entry or office administration is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and transcribe data into company systems and databases

  • Review records for errors or missing information and correct as needed

  • Keep relevant files organized, including both digital and hard copy records.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all documents and sensitive information

  • Prepare simple reports and retrieve information when requested

  • Support the team with administrative and clerical tasks
