Accounts Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, handling invoices, receipts, and payments, and assisting with financial reporting
At least 5 Subjects Csec inclusive of Mathematics and Principles of Accounts
Minimum 2 years working experience in similar or related field
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel
CAT Intermediate Level would be an asset
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
Handling daily financial transactions, including classifying, computing, and posting accounts receivable and payable data.
Preparing bills and invoices.
Preparing financial reports and statements.
Reconciling bank statements with company records.
Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data.
Filing paperwork and maintaining organized records.
Using accounting software programs to process transactions.
