We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team as a Researcher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive legal research, providing support to attorneys, and assisting in the preparation of legal documents.
1. CAPE Certificate (Associate Degree in Humanities/Law
2. Bachelor's degree in Law, Sociology, or another related field.
3. Preferably a minimum of 1 year of Experience as a researcher or in a related position.
4. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
5. Proficiency in using legal research tools and databases.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
1. Conduct in-depth legal research using various sources, including online databases, legal libraries, and court records.
2. Analyze and summarize legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to ongoing cases and projects.
3. Maintain organized research files and databases for easy access and reference.
4. Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact the firm's clients.
Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to provide timely and accurate research support.
