To be responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of all Company vehicles and mechanically driven appliances. These would include all cars, service vehicles (trucks, refrigerated trucks, vans, buses) forklifts, tractors, lawnmowers, etc.
Five (5) subjects CXC inclusive of Maths & English, Grades 1, 2 or 3.
Certificate in Diesel Mechanic or any other Industrial training in Diesel Mechanic.
Minimum of two (2) years working experience as a Motor Diesel Mechanic.
To be able to troubleshoot a diesel/gasoline engines and take corrective action.
To exercise good housekeeping, techniques and conduct at all times.
To be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety requirements and comply with same.
Must be adhere to Company’s policies and rules.
Ensure proper care and custody of all equipment.
All assignments to be done in a timely manner.
