The Customer Service Representative assists in making an effective contribution to the retail sales team objectives through efficient professional and accurate sales and support service on the Sale Floor operations with a strong focus on customer care and interest in product knowledge. The Sales Assistant accompanies customers and provides any assistance needed during shopping and ensures that the customer is adequately informed about product information and promotions
A minimum of five subject CXC with passes in English Language and Mathematics.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar capacity as well as experience in a retail environment.
Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including weekends and additional hours.
Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Polite, friendly, helpful, confident, and persuasive ability.
Basic understanding of sales and customer service practice.
Knowledge of basic features and benefits of the product line.
Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
Move and handle boxes of merchandise throughout the store which entails lifting etc.
Welcome, greet, and interact with customers daily.
Provide excellent face-to-face sales and support services to all customers with:
Accurate, professional and efficient service
High levels of customer care and responsiveness
Good product knowledge and understanding
Ensures that products are adequately displayed and shelves are fully stocked
Aid customers in locating merchandise in the store and inform them about specials and promotions.
Answer customers’ questions and complaints with knowledge and speedy support t maximize customer satisfaction.
Recommend items to Customers by highlighting features and benefits.
Monitor in-stock and out-of-stock products and replenished shelves.
Provide direction and assist customers in acquiring a short cart or basket, if required
Assist customers by providing directions to check-out counters.
Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
Monitor work areas for cleanliness and functionality and removed obstacles for safety.
