We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts & Service Advisor. The incumbent will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring efficient operations within the Parts & Service Department.
Technical Certification from any tertiary institution in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
High School Certificate of at least 5 CSEC subjects including Grades 1 or 2 in Mathematics and English A.
Diploma in Business Management or other related discipline will be asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Five (5) plus years’ experience in a similar customer facing role.
Valid driver’s license for Car or Van.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Assist customers in identifying their parts and service needs, providing recommendations, and arranging appointments for repairs or maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service appointments, and parts inventory.
Input all required actions/requests into the company’s software.
Set up and order parts as well as keep track of back orders for customer jobs.
Resolve customer concerns and issues in a prompt and professional manner.
Keep customers updated on the progress of vehicle repair and parts orders.
Provide all the information to submit warranty claims to the supplier.
Coordinate with Technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and service work.
Comply with all Safety & Health Regulations in the workplace.
Stay up to date with product knowledge and technical information related to automotive parts and service.
